Ayurvedic Herbs and Increasing Vitality
Founder & Owner of Tattva’s Herbs, Inc.
Peter has been studying and practicing Ayurveda for over 30 years. His many travels to India have put him in touch with scholars, Ayurvedic practitioners, and a culture based on these ancient principles. Peter originally began his studies of Vedic literature in their original Sanskrit text. His own awareness and keen interest in Ayurveda has led to the development of Tattva’s Herbs.
In 1999 Peter started Tattva’s Herbs with one goal: to provide the absolute highest quality Ayurvedic and related health supplements without compromise. A commitment to that end means that all products are cultivated on eco-friendly farms, without the use of any chemicals, pesticides or preservatives. In addition, all products are certified cruelty-free, vegan, and, whenever possible, certified organic.
Tattva’s Herbs features over 100 different products that are extracted using the technology known as Supercritical or CO2 extraction. The CO2 extraction process ensures delivery of the broadest possible spectrum of the active ingredients within the herb. A bonus to this technology is that it removes heavy metals. Co2 extraction does not have to resort to the use of toxins such as hexane, which leave a residue that can’t be removed. These toxic chemicals, unfortunately, are commonly used in the industry.
We offer an extensive line of potent herbal formulas, massage oils, bulk herbs and, most recently, Capomo—a unique superfood coffee substitute that’s not only good for you but actually tastes like coffee.
Peter is working with a variety of projects in India and Central America to give back to the native culture, helping disadvantaged farmers and especially women’s’ rural cooperatives. One of these projects is the Radhika Project, which is working to help educate and assist with health issues of local villagers, as well as working with orphanages and schools.
Through his many experiences, Peter has come to appreciate firsthand the healing powers of these ancient herbal formulas. He is proud to bring them to the market in their purest form and is deeply committed to playing his part in bringing the ancient wealth of Ayurvedic healing into today’s culture. Peter is a frequent lecturer on the practical application of Ayurvedic herbs and is committed to educating the public on the wealth contained in Ayurveda. Tattva’s Herbs products can be found at their retail outlet in Seattle, or online at www.tattvasherbs.com. You can also find their products at a number of Whole Foods stores, health food stores, Co-Ops, various cancer centers, and other health care professional’s around the country.
