GENETICS PROCESS

Instructions on obtaining your genetic information and converting your 23andMe or Ancestry raw data.

Step 1: Order your kit from www.23andMe.com here. You will only need to purchase the ANCESTRY version for $ 99.00 plus S&H. We use the RAW DATA which is the same for both, so there is no need to purchase their health interpretation. Dr. Keesha takes this information in far more greater detail as it relates to your individual health and wellness. This RAW DATA is then sent through an additional portal through www.mthfrsupport.com to create a variant report.

Step 2: Once you receive your kit in the mail, you MUST REGISTER your kit through your 23andMe.com portal ( this is your personal portal and all your information will live there ).

1. Locate the barcode on the side of the collection tubes and enter that in the space provided on their website. This ties the kit and genetic information to you.
2. Once this is done, please follow the instructions to collect your saliva and return back to 23andMe.com in the prepaid box/envelope. NOTE: This can take 4 to 6 weeks or so, depending on how busy they are. You will be notified via email, that your 23andMe results are ready. You then go into your portal to retrieve the raw data. There is lots of fun facts and such there as well but the DNA analysis will be done through a diffferent report.

Step 3: REQUEST YOUR RAW DATA through 23andMe.com

1. Login in to your personal portal
2. In the far upper right hand corner you will see your initials/account, Click on that.
3. Scroll down to raw data
4. Then move down the page and select DOWNLOAD
5. Request Raw data download
6. Submit request
   1. This step is pretty quick, you should receive notification by email, that your raw data is ready.
7. Next step is to download and save to your PC, laptop or tablet in a location that is easily accessible to you. For example, your desktop. Once the RAW DATA is saved on your personal device. You will need to move to the next step.

Step 4: UPLOAD YOUR RAW DATA from your personal computer to www.mthfrsupport.com

1. https://www.mthfrsupport.com/reports-consults/order-reports/
2. Register with a username and email address and create your personal password
3. Login with your username and password
4. Go to Sterling’s App tab at the top and click order reports
5. It will ask you if you want VARIANT OR EXCIPIENT report, PLEASE SELECT VARIANT REPORT. There is a cost of $ 30.00 for this.
6. Within minutes your results should be ready.
7. Go to view reports. There you should see your variant report, click on the EYEBALL symbol. This will give you the view of your report. You will see -/+ and color coding.
8. Please print a copy to bring to your appt. With Dr. Keesha. Color is preferred. You can also, send it over to us electronically via email to [email protected] and [email protected] We WILL NOT print these out for you. So if you want to print one out and take notes on the report, that can be helpful and is advisable.

NOTE: Dr. Keesha MAY ask you to purchase the NUTREVAL Test kit through our website at https://www.drkeesha.com/shop/nutreval/ for $ 399.00. This includes a urine organix’s test and is helpful in determining which gene’s may be currently expressing and causing you issues. This tool will assist her in creating and correcting issues.

ALL GENETICS are done is Seperate appts. And hour scheduled for 1 hour. Please plan for a full hour. New clients who are asked to do this, please be aware that with the extensive testing that Dr. Keesha does do, this will not be included in your initial report of findings new client appt. Unless that is all we are doing. Please prepare yourself for an additional appt. Fee of $ 285.00 to $ 300.00.
