It’s not surprising that February is American Heart Month. This month — the month of love, hearts and relationships — is a great time to focus on your whole heart health: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual layers of your heart. Do you know how well your heart is functioning?
Take the Whole Heart Health Quiz: How is your heart functioning well physically? What about emotionally? How’s your whole heart health? I made a quick quiz to help you find out where you stand.

Your heart is an amazing organ. It continuously pumps oxygen and nutrient-rich blood throughout your body to sustain life. This fist-sized powerhouse beats 100,000 times per day, pumping five or six quarts of blood each minute, or about 2,000 gallons per day.
There are lots of things that increase your risk for cardiovascular events and death and we now know that having an autoimmune disease is one of those risk factors. Getting the latest cardiac lab tests is key to understanding the full picture of your heart health, whether you have an autoimmune disease diagnosis or not.
Beyond taking care of the physical aspects of your heart, we often need emotional support for our hearts, too. When the people closest to you lie, cheat, and deceive, it feels intentional and incredibly personal. Here’s a short video I did on this topic. These traumatic experiences can leave us heartbroken and searching for ways to heal.
If you’re looking to take control of your heart’s emotional health, my DIY course, Transform Your Trauma, gives you the tools to heal heartbreak on your terms.
In the meantime, I encourage you to take the Heart Health Quiz now and reach out for a discovery call to explore how we can work together to protect your heart for life.
